With the prophets of old...I bring you good news of great joy that is for all people.  [Luke 2:10]

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us..  He entered into our world full of violence. [John 1:14]

The Son of God, came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  [John 1:14] From a place of beauty, were the river of the water of life – as clear as crystal, flows from the throne of God  - down the middle of the city.  And on each side of the river is the tree of life.  And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.  [Revelations 22]

And with healing in his wings the Sun of Righteousness came [Malachi 4:2] to bring a day when every tear shall be wiped away.  A day when there shall be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, a day when the old order of things will be gone.  [Revelations 21]

His light shown in our darkness.  He stepped into our wounds.  Wounds as deep as the ocean. [Lamentations 2:13]  But see if there is any suffering like the suffering he bore.  [Lamentations 1:12]

For to us a child was born

A son was given.  [Isaiah 9:6]

A son who will swallow up death forever. [Isaiah 25:8]

Look and be radiant, let your hearts swell with joy [Isaiah 60:5]

For he binds up the broken hearted.  He prepares for us a place where there will never again be an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years. [Isaiah 65:20]

For his birth shook the very heavens and earth. [Haggai 2:6]

All those who labor and are heavy laden the Savior came so that we may have rest.  [Matt 11:28 ]

For a son has been born.  [Isaiah 9:6]

And his name is Emmanuel – God with us. [Matt 1:23]

For we are a people walking in darkness.  We live in the land of the shadow of death.   But for us a light has dawned.  [Isaiah 9:2]

And the angel declares – nothing is impossible for God.   [Luke 1:37]

Arise Shine for the light of the world has come.  [Isaiah 60:1]

Do not be afraid

For to us a child was born.

And his name is Jesus.

And he is our Prince of Peace…
